sounds to me like this woman was in a state of shock and grief and was just following her normal routine before it hit her as to what she had done. When someone is close to another and they have been helping to care for someone people don't think clearly when a loved one passes away. Most of you must never have lost a loved one that has left you in such a state. Most of you have no respect for anyone. Just because you read something in the paper or online, doesn't make it true or accurate. Reporters are here to sensationalize the news not give the whole story or the FACTS. You should learn the difference. I used to pick up my grandmothers medications and some were narcotic scheduled drugs and when a pharmacy knows someone they generally don't ask for ID because they know you are there picking up meds for someone who is elderly or infirmed in such a manner that they can't leave their home or possibly their bed. This wasn't even a story this was the 2 second snip-it from someone who needed to fill the space. If we don't know the WHOLE story how can we be so judgmental? I pose that the aunt had a vindictive child who never called and never came to take care of mom, was bitter because they didnt get something from mom that they wanted, was probably forging moms checks to steal from mom and then when the woman went to the drug store out of habit before the shock hit the bitter child called the cops to get even. Does anyone know if the niece actually took any of the pills? Or did she take them back to her aunts house where the bitter child found them and decided to call the cops and try to get bogus charges placed on the niece. There are always more than 1 side to every story.
