LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- The National Weather Service in Louisville is saying there's more where that came from.
After a brief break possible from freezing rain Tuesday night, meteorological technician Nathan Foster says temperatures will fall again and as much as 2 to 4 inches of snow will greet morning commuters.
Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson is asking employers to postpone arrival time for nonessential workers and says Metro Government won't open until 10 a.m. except for emergency workers.
In Lexington an additional 1 to 3 inches of snow may fall overnight, while parts of southern Kentucky could get another 1 to 2 inches.
Buddy Rogers of the Kentucky Division of Emergency Management says power outages across the state have reached at least 104,000 customers.
Western Kentucky had widespread outages with emergency shelters set up in several communities.
