HAMILTON TWP., Ohio -- The foreclosed home of a Hamilton Township man who was convicted of killing his newlywed wife, only to have the conviction overturned will be sold in a sheriff's auction Monday.
Ryan Widmer's foreclosed home will be sold in an auction at 10 a.m. in the lobby of the Warren County Court House.
The home on Crested Owl Court was appraised at $165,000.
According to court documents, Widmer owes more than $189,000 on the mortgage, taxes and court fees.
The bidding on the house will start at $110,000.
In April, Widmer was convicted of the drowning of his wife, Sarah, at their home on August 11, 2008. In July, a judge granted Widmer a new trial because of juror misconduct.
He is out on bond right now until his re-trial in March.
