With unemployment getting where it is. People are getting more desperate. You better have a gun on you everytime you leave home to protect yourself.

Thank you for taking the effort to verify or refute the claims made, rather than merely accepting them at face value.

Did a news organization actually print factual info on firearms?

I was asked "why do I carry a gun", I say "because a cop is too heavy". ANY business that puts up a no-gun allowed sigh is automatically assuming responicability for my safety. The "no-gun" sigh is an open invitation to the criminal that they are free to do what they want.

When an establishment removes my right to protect myself (as premitted by ohio law) they are responsible for my safety....NO thanks! Concealed is concealed!

PS Great truthful article

Recently I listened to an attorney say if you or a family member were killed or injured in a "Gun Free Zone" they would have a good chance of holding the establishment responsible. That doesn't mean they would win the case, but he would have no problem with taking it on. When K-Mart can be sued because a lady was mugged in their parking lot or, as I heard on the news this morning, of a drunk driver was kiiled when he struck a tree in a cemetary and the family is now sueing the cemetary. A Gun Free Zone doesn't stand a chance.

I do not visit businesses that will not permit me to carry my firearm inside. As a law abiding holder of a Texas CHL, I pay attention to those 30.06 signs and obey them. The upshot is that A) their businesses are less safe, not more so; and B) I don't spend my money in their establishments. Any business that cares that little about my ability to protect myself and my loved ones - particularly in the absence of real and effective security which would prevent a law-breaker in possession of a gun from entering the premises to harm others - does not deserve to receive one red penny of my hard earned money. In fact, one wonders if they don't have a larger liability for making people defenseless in the face of their own fecklessness toward security. I'll just spend my money elsewhere, thank you; and take care of my own safety - since mall owners and others don't seem to give a damn one way or the other.

This is a great article, It is true, "no gun signs" tell the criminals, it is safe to commit crime here. Why can't businesses and politicians understand this?

Lets just keep beating this dead horse. Everytime they bring up this crap they make the killers HERO'S.
