WESTWOOD, Ohio.- Just before 7 p.m. Sunday, police received a 911 call from a customer inside Walmart on Ferguson Road in Westwood.

The caller said there was a man with a ski mask, a large black jacket and a shot gun in the store.

Several police departments responded, eventually evacuating around 100 people while searching the Walmart.

"We was in the check out line.  Police came with they guns out, telling us to get down, do not move, don't move anything, touch anything," said customer Lakisha Madaris.

After not finding anyone, police checked the security cameras.

"We did observe on the cameras somebody walk in with a white mask over his face.  He had a dark jacket and a hood.  We verified that he did go in, use the ATM and then left," said Sgt. Frank Beavers with the Cincinnati Police Department.

Police say they believe the man did not have a gun and the original 911 caller may have been mistaken, or it may have been a prank call.
