DEERFIELD TWP., Ohio -- The Warren County Sheriff's Office is getting some outside help to determine who spray-painted a park building.
Investigators say someone used red spay paint to write all over the outside walls of the bathroom facility at Cottell Park located at Snider and Irwin Simpson roads.
It was done overnight Saturday. A deputy patrolling spotted the damage around 5 a.m. Sunday.
The sheriff's office is now treating the graffiti as a gang-related incident, though they do not have that verified yet.
The graffiti includes unknown symbols, the Roman numeral 14 and curse words in Spanish.
The Spanish words for "dog" and "pure" were also sprayed on the walls.
Officials are now working with gang-graffiti experts to research the symbols.
Parks and recreation employees have already painted over the graffiti.
