CINCINNATI, OH--It's a big day for the bearcats as the University of Cincinnati welcomes its new president Greg Williams.
The celebration this morning will include UC cheerleaders, marching band, the bearcat mascot, and representatives from student government.
Williams was president of the City College of New York before taking this position. He also held the position of Dean of the Law School at Ohio State.
The Muncie, Indiana native, takes over from Nancy Zimpher, who left June 1 to become Chancellor of the State University of New York higher education system.
Williams is the 27th president of the university.
