Marshall and Sargent were assigned to a welding shop at the facility and are believed to have been involved in the assault of a maintenance worker prior to their escape.

The maintenance worker was injured and has been airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital.

A 1989 Ford F-250 Extended Cab that was stolen from the area was just recovered on I-71 near Cincinnati.

Investigators believe that the truck was taken sometime around 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning and have found items that belong to the Branchville Prison near the area from where the vehicle was taken.

Indiana Department of Correction officials believe the vehicle was stolen by the escapees indicating they may possibly be in the greater Cincinnati area at this time.

At least one suspect has relatives that live in Independence, Kentucky.

IDOC officials consider all three men dangerous.

Local, state and federal law enforcement are conducting an intensive investigation to locate and apprehend the escapees.

Anyone with any information concerning these individuals or there whereabouts are asked to contact their local law enforcement agencies or 911.
