The City of Cincinnati is calling the redevelopment of the McAlpin department store into condominiums a success for the city.
The city continues to support projects that encourage downtown homeownership.
A ribbon cutting for the 62 new condos will take place at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
City leaders, members of the downtown council, realtors and other supporters will be at the event.
The new homes have many amenities including concierge service, glass atriums, parking garage, and a media room.
The condos range in price from $280,000 to $750,000.
More than 40 percent of the new condos have been sold.
