As I posted in the KRC thread…..if some of you posting here have “facts” or “proof” of any kind (good or bad) PLEASE contact the Brown County Sheriffs office or the Prosecutors office with your information. Posting accusations on here will not help the investigation but only cause shame to this mans family or even worse, brings more shame upon this girl who stepped forward! Let the police sort this out and stop being part of the problem and become part of the solution!!!!!!

Anny9090.. you are exactly right about the comment and i wrote the same exact thing you are saying but just in different words i wrote: everyone is asking why this is just now coming out and most people were saying because she was to young and scared when it first happened thats why she waited until now. If you go back and re-read what i wrote you will see that i said right in there that the reason she is probably just now saying something is because she is probably in love with him and she was expecting him to up and leave his family to be with her..i never once said anything bad about Mr. Carpenter. I grew up in Ripley and Graduated from RULH and he was my teacher in 8th grade so trust me i know how the rumors fly. And if you go and look at the students Myspace account you would see that she is doing this mainly for attention.

Lady Luck.. just reading what you wrote is simply.. "stupid". The reason this is coming out now, is b/c she is wanting attention. I feel if this incident was sooo bad, why didnt the person named fmrloveland report this... that person is just as guilty as Mr. Carpenter. To be honest, I am viewing this as an "18 yr old" who is in love w/ her teacher and he isnt wanting to give her the attention she wants... and perhaps... she is just wanting to wreck a teacher's career and take down his famiy in the process... that's my take. It's just sad that all this has to be going on.. when I think it was a text message and from what I understand... NO sexual contact went on... This is a small town.. and let me tell you, Ripley is a town full of people who LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE drama.. why do you think I left that town to go elsewhere? To be honest I think the senior who is blaming the Mr. Carpenter is now coming out with her story because she will soon be 18 and since they have "supposedly" had this romantic relationship, she was thinking by telling the counselor her side of the story he would leave his family to be with her, Instead of everyone judging the teacher lets look at this from both sides both teacher and student are smart enough to made the decision together. So for everyone who questions why she just now comes out with her story maybe its a totally different reason than what everyone expects maybe its because after all these years she has thought of him as her one and true love and now she will be graduating soon and maybe she wants him to commit to her, does anyone ever think of that? Be honest how many people can you actually trust 0 so lets, let the courts and the investigators decide who is innocent and who is not..Its just like that small town to have all this drama that these teenage girls feed from or else they would not have this crap posted all over myspace ect. just another reason for attention. some people need to get over themselves!
