Check out the post office and other government run enterprises like social security then tell me you want those same people running health care... It's what happens when the public in general lets them do what they want with no oversight. Just returned from Ireland, people I spoke to don't want government run health care. Where in the Constitution does it say the government should be in the private industry? Get the government out of our lives. How well have they run social security?

I have seen way too many people allow their fears drive them foreward. Right now as far as health care is concerned the only organization on your side is the Obama administration. I find it hilarious the posts that promote the fear of socilism;when we live in Cincinnati the first city in the world to install the socialised system of a paid fire department. And we make uses every day of other socialised benifits like police, military, road repair, public libraries etc. Why aren't they whining and complaining about these socialised systems?? Why aren't they just letting their houses burn down because they don't want that socistic crap in their neighbor hoods. The biggest reason is they were never taught correctly. Communism, socilism, and free enterprize are all echonomic structures (how welth and services are distributed). And oligarchy (ie dictatorships, councils, ect)republics, democracy, anarchy are all political structures (how rules and laws are created and enforced.) And for the record here in the us we have a democratic republic with a free enterprize echonomic structor China has an oligarchy with a socilist echonomic structor with some free enterprize sprinkeled in because of foreign trade They haven't reached communism yet. Russia had an oligarchy with a socilist strucrure which they fount doen't work when the oligarchy siphons off the wealth and leaves the people to fight for the scraps. People need to learn the truth.
