CINCINNATI -- A assault suspect is accused of beating up a woman to try and convince her not to testify against him in another legal matter.

It's a story you saw first on Good Morning Tri-State.

Lincoln Heights police arrested Randy Wright, 33, on Wednesday.

During the attack, Wright allegedly told the victim that if she showed up in court to testify against him, he would kill her.

Cops say he also broke the woman's rib and punctured her lung.

It appears the case he was allegedly trying to intimidate her over is an upcoming assault trial featuring the pair.

The most recent alleged assault happened in June, but police had been looking for him since then armed with a warrant for his arrest.
