Strickland Targets State Agencies To Cut Costs

Last Update: 2/06 12:53 am

Ohio Governor Ted Strickland won't ask Ohio's top collegiate employees to take a pay cut.

Instead, the governor is targeting state agencies to cut costs.

The group made over $34 million last year.

Strickland is seeking a six-percent cut from unionized agency workers.

If he asked for the same amount from university presidents, it would save the state two million dollars a year.
