CINCINNATI -- A West End store owner likely surprised a would-be robber overnight, when he decided to fight back.
According to police, an armed man walked into CJ's Pony Keg on
Central Avenue just after 9:30 Wednesday night and demanded cash.
After the store owner handed over the money, the suspect reportedly fired a shot inside the store before proceeding to leave with the cash.
But, before he could get out the door, police say the store owner got out his own gun and fired several shots at the suspect, both inside and outside of the store.
The suspect still managed to get away, however, he dropped the money as he fled.
No one was injured. Police are still searching for the suspect.
