A state web site that handles Ohio unemployment claims is back up and running after a barrage of hits caused it to malfunction.
Beginning Monday, both the web site and telephone hotline received a crush of hits and calls from people wanting to make unemployment claims.
The hotline was back up last night, but the web didn't return to normal until today.
Kentucky's unemployment system experienced the same problems because of so many calls.
They had to add more phone lines and servers.
