I killed two blade grinders (which didnt' work all that well) and bought a $tarbuck$ burr grinder. It never quit working but did become so dull that it was taking too long to grind just one pot worth. I went to buy another one, and Buck$ had quit selling burr grinders - the one I had was made by Solis. So I found an even better Solis burr grinder... wasnt' cheap but so far so good, I've been using it for about 3 years now. On coffee from Lookout Joes.. great coffee but the question isn't whether the cup is half empty or half full, but rather, is our slogan too unwieldy even for public radio? :-)
