I agree with faithhope...we need more options other than the ones we have. This is the 21st century and we'll still fighting over old systems that no longer work for the people and this city. Ask us what we want since we're the ones who will have to pay for it in the end.

Hey blackninela, calling everyone in this city a racist white person is part of the problem I see. One here and there is racist and you call everyone racist and you convince yourself that that is really the case. I know plenty of white people that are not racist at all and treat all by their character. This type attitude has done nothing to help race in the country while many many white people have worked to change many attitudes on the subject. Not saying there aren't racist on all sides as we know very well that is true. But sometimes people need to pick up their stereotypes and far back history and start fresh and move on. Those type of people actually succeed with no problem in this country.

I'm not being a racist when the statement is true. WAKE UP!

Blackninela - "Statement is about whites not liking latinos living next to them." This statement implies that whites wouldn't like latinos because all latinos are bad, which, by definition, is a racist comment. Here's your sign...

THE BRAT... obviously you can't read. I didn't put down latinos. I said, "Nothing but bunch racist white people. I hope you enjoying the latinos who have moved in next to you. I know you're happy about that." What you did is called "taking it out of context". Learn how to read comprehension. Statement is about whites not liking latinos living next to them. HWGAS16... yes Indians were the original people of this country who were screwed. But who did it? White people from Britan! As far as the projects... I'm not talking about lower income housing areas, idiot. I'm talking neighborhoods that have a higher percentage or was majority white like Forest Park. You guys are definitely still behind in the times like Mark Twain said.

Face facts very few people could ever use mass transit in Cincinnati. There a few jobs located in the city limits. Let's fix the real problems in Cincinnati.

just another blatant waste of taxpayer moneys!!!!!

Thanks, the Brat. I find so much hypocrisy in this country it kind of makes me sick. I disagree with porkandbeans comments and also with blackninela. I do think the Freedom Center should have been placed near the Union Terminal museum center instead of an entertainment type district, that can kind of sober the moment for some. People need to rise above their stupid petty thoughts and grow up and it happens from all sides these days, but I do agree that when I minority is a bigot, its just looked over. People need to be held accountable all the same. As for this tansit center, its just another waste, like the time wasted to build the banks(going on 10 years now), which is outrageous in my view, how incompetent of a city is this. I think they should take that money and finish the damn subway that is sitting there. Give the people a real form of transportation, not some scenic dinky street car. But its Cincinnati I expect nothing more than a failure, plain and simple. Can't think of anything to give me confidence in any of their plans.

The Transit Center cost very little, it was part of the overall project for changing the Ft. Washington Way and building the new stadiums. It's there and if light rail ever comes to town (like down Eastern/Riverside) it will be used more. Who cares what owned Tom Luken thinks anyway. Oh, hwgas16, it IS next to the Freedom Center, duh...
