CINCINNATI -- A man taken into custody after a report of shots fired has a memorable tattoo, the word "Cincinnati" wrapped around his eye.

Cincinnati police arrested Sonny Pierre Gardner, 23, of Walnut Hills on Tuesday morning after he allegedly didn't comply with officers commands to stop his vehicle.

He is charged with operating a car without a license and failure to comply.

Officers say they attempted to pull Gardner over because his car matched a description of a vehicle involved in shots being fired at the intersection of Melrose and Taft.

Police say they pursued him for about four minutes before he bailed on the car and took off on foot.

Gardner is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday afternoon.
