In the 3300 block of U.S. 50 Clermont County, power lines and telephone poles leaning or knocked down – in some places blocking traffic in both directions.

A tree and power lines also blocked the way for passengers in one vehicle on US 50.  They were trapped temporarily, but able to get to safety.

A fire was sparked by lightning at a Mason day care facility. Fire crews are still on the scene.
