Hundreds of people are expected to attend a rally this Wednesday in an effort to save local libraries from major budget cuts.
Ohio Governor Ted Strickland's budget proposal amounts to a 50% cut in public library funding.
If the cuts happen, up to 20 local library branches could close and 250 workers could lose their jobs.
The hours would also be dramatically reduced at the Main Library in downtown Cincinnati.
The “Save Our Libraries” rally will be held at the Loveland branch library.
It starts at 11 a.m.
