Restaurant Owner Jeff Ruby is doubling the reward fund for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person involved in the rock throwing incident on Columbia Parkway last month that seriously injured a woman.
Ruby made the announcement Tuesday afternoon alongside Cincinnati Police Chief Tom Streicher.
Ruby has donated $5,000 to the reward fund which now stands at $10,000.
Joyce Baresel was riding in a car on Columbia Parkway June 14 when a rock crashed through the windshield and hit her in the head.
She spent nearly two weeks in the hospital and is now recovering at home.
Baresel suffered multiple injuries, including a fractured skull.
In the meantime, police may have DNA evidence that could eventually link a suspect to the crime.
Police have not made any arrests.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (513)352-3040 or text tips to (513)352-3050.
