Kentucky State Police are still searching by ground and air for the three inmates who escaped from a medium security prison in Branchville, Indiana last week.
Many residents are worried about their own safety with one of the suspects, 59-year-old Jerry Sargent having ties to the Dry Ridge and Williamstown, Kentucky area.
Sargent, 59, Bobby Cockerell, 31, and Christopher Marshall, 49, escaped from the Branchville Correctional facility near Tell City,Ind. last Friday.
Police are reminding residents to close and lock all of their doors and windows.
Residents are also being asked not to leave the keys inside of their vehicles.
Police have taken the time to duplicate the license plate on the vehicle the inmates allegedly stole.
It's not your typical state license plate. It's a specialized license plate with green and yellow detail on the lettering.
The designed plate is an exact copy of the one from the stolen 1988 Ford Ranger 4x4 super cab with license plate number 7824BZ.
The vehicle was stolen Monday after investigators say the escapees broke into a Sanders, Kentucky home, beat three brothers and stole clothes, guns and $7,000 in cash from inside the home.
Kentucky State Police Trooper Seth Willis says they wanted to duplicate the license plate because it's a specialized plate with the word Kentucky on top and farm on the bottom.
There is a four leaf clover with a letter "H" on each leaf and an agricultural education seal on the left-hand side of the plate.
The plate also contains the phrase Kentucky Proud.
On Wednesday, federal agents from the ATF issued arrest warrants for all three men.
Police say the men are considered armed and very dangerous. If you see them, do not approach them, call 9-1-1 or your local law enforcement agency immediately.
