According to TMZ, Michael Jackson will be buried in a $25,000 custom casket that is being produced in the Tri-State.

The casket, which is called a Promethean, was reportedly ordered Thursday night from the Batesville Casket Company in Indiana.

9News called the Batesville Casket Company in Indiana Friday afternoon. Their spokesperson would not confirm any transaction between them and the Jackson family.  However, they did say they have supplied caskets for four out the past five presidents and even one for Farrah Fawcett last week.

The casket is reported to be solid bronze, 14 carat gold-plated with a blue velvet interior. It is also the same casket that James Brown was buried in, according to TMZ.
