Reds Streak Stops At Three

Last Update: 5/02/2007 11:11 pm
To say that Roy Oswalt has the Reds' number is simply not enough. The Astros ace improves to 18-1 lifetime verses Cincinnati after Houston's 3-1 victory Wednesday night.

The Reds came into the game playing their best offensive baseball of the season. Those hots bats were cooled quickly-- Oswalt allowed just four hits in the game.

Kyle Loshe, meanwhile, got off to a little bit of a rocky start. The Astros held a 2-0 lead after the first inning. Loshe settle down from there, though. He only gave up one more run in the sixth before making his exit at the end of the frame.

The Reds wrap up their 9-game road trip Thursday evening at 8:05 from Minute Maid Park. Eric Milton (0-4, 4.71) will be up against Houston's Wandy Rodriguez (0-3, 4.50).
