A Madisonville woman allegedly admitted to police she was trying to run over her boyfriend with her car in the parking lot of a BP station.

It's a story you saw first on Good Morning Tri-State.

Twenty-one-year-old Marshey Hodge is charged with domestic violence and felonious assault.

The incident happened around 3 p.m. on Wednesday at the store located on the 7700 block of Montgomery Road across from Kenwood Towne Center.

Police say the domestic situation started in the vehicle as the couple drove on Reed Hartmann Highway prior to the incident at the BP.

Police say the boyfriend is the father of Hodge's children.

A judge set Hodge's bond at $40,000 Thursday morning.
