You may want to check your garage and home for missing tools, instruments, or even digital cameras.

Blue Ash police have an impound garage full of stolen household items that were recovered from the same store police found a live alligator last week.

Lockland and Blue Ash police say they found over 300 items inside the store. They believe it's all stolen property.

The investigation started with a bizarre finding inside the "Just Stuff" consignment shop on Wyoming Avenue in Lockland.

A three-and-half-foot alligator was discovered in the back of the store.

Investigators also found 300 items for sale inside. A majority of those items are believed to be stolen.

"We're at the point now that we want to have people look at this stuff and maybe something will click that's mine. I didn't know it was missing. I reported that stolen to so and so. Then they can come in with their police reports and get their stuff back," said Lt. Dennis Boone from the Blue Ash Police Department.

There are some heavy duty items including construction machinery, a U-Haul dolly and a Nikon digital camera with a pictures of a mother celebrating her daughter's birthday.

There are also golf clubs, a barbecue grill, tools with the initials DPG, jewelry and a drum set.

Lt. Boone says they couldn't believe it when they opened up a deep freezer and actually found expensive food inside including steak, filet mignon and lobster tail.

Investigators say charges will be filed in the case.

"We have a suspect but we want to wait to see how much of the stuff gets reported as being stolen so we know how many to charge, who to charge. We're going to meet with the prosecutor's office before we do that," explained Lt. Boone.

If you believe any of the stolen items belong to you, call Blue Ash Police at (513) 745-8573 to arrange a time to view the property.

You will need to have a copy of a police report of the stolen property.
