LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Police are still searching for a driver wanted in connection with the hit-and-run death of a University of Kentucky freshman.
WLEX-TV in Lexington reported Monday that police are looking for the driver of a light-colored pickup truck.
Connie Blount of Park City, Utah, was struck and killed early Sunday morning while crossing a street near downtown Lexington. An autopsy showed she died of multiple injuries.
Jack Blount told the Lexington Herald-Leader that his 18-year-old daughter had come to UK because she loved horses. She was an accomplished rider on the school's equestrian team.
Blount says his other daughter, Kelley, gave birth to a girl in Georgia just hours after Connie's death.
