CUMMINSVILLE - A Cincinnati police officer was slightly injured during a foot chase with a suspect Tuesday morning in Cumminsville.

According to police, the officer caught two grafitti vandals in the act just after midnight, when one took off and lead police on a three-block chase.

Thirty-two-year-old Jonathan Ruebusch of Northside is facing counts of criminal mischief and obstruction.

He was allegedly seen spray painting a wall on Spring Grove Avenue, when he refused orders to stop. Police say he was getting help tagging the wall by 24-year-old Jules Brookbank of Clifton. Brookbank is facing a criminal mischief charge, and a probation violation.

Police say the officer twisted his ankle in the foot chase.

Both men are scheduled to appear in court Tuesday afternoon.
