Police in Adams County have released the identities of two people that were found dead in an home on Saturday afternoon.
Sheriff's deputies were called to the home in the 300 block of Clock Road in West Union around 11:30 a.m. When they entered, police found the bodies of Regina King, 28, and Samuel Freeland Jr., 44.
Police are calling it a double homicide, saying it appears a firearm was used to kill the two people.
According to officers, King and Freeland were boyfriend and girlfriend. Officials say the homicides may be drug related.
Police say homicides are uncommon in the area, so the Sheriff's Office called the Bureau of Criminal Investigations to help process the crime scene and collect evidence.
Officials are still investigating the homicides. No arrests have been made, and police have not named any suspects.
