The son must have been educated in the use of a shotgun...otherwise I wouldn't have believed it...Sad, very sad.

I saw the father of the 4 year old on the national news and he said that his son did it because he was frustrated with the babysitter. He sounded like he was justifying the childs actions. Heaven help them all when this child is 15 and full of hormones and gets frustrated with____________, you fill in the blank!

I can't see a 4 yr old going and getting a shotgun. Hold it up, and shooting someone... Sounds more like the other teens were playing with the gun and blamed him. I'm not saying it wasn't possible, but just seems like a BS story made up by the OLDER teens. I mean how MAD can a 4 yr old get to think of going and getting a SHOTGUN? Was it already cocked and ready to shoot? Was he in a rage and going nuts? Or did he calmly go get the gun and say "you must die". I do think however, that the parents should be spayed and neutered for thinking its ok to leave a cocked and loaded gun laying around the trailer, with all these teens and kids running around. They have no clue what child saftey is. Or what is best for a child. I mean how did the kid know where the gun was? And how to use it? Did the parents just leave it out in the open? Has he shot it before?..How was he able to carry it from one room to another. And keep his finger off the trigger, until he was ready to point it towards the teen and shoot him? Was it on safty? If so did he KNOW how to take the safty off? Also a shotgun seems pretty big and heavy for a 4 yr old to carry around the house, then hold it up to shoot. Without hurting himself. Not to mention when he pulled the trigger, it would of knocked him on his butt....I just ain't buying it. Maybe I'm wrong, but this is a little to much for me to fall for. Thank God nobody got killed. Charge the parents with stupidity and neglect. And send them to have their brains checked. If this is true then get this boy some help right away, he needs it...But if I were the cop on this case. I'd be hammering these teens for the REAL truth. Not to mention, their baby sitting days are over.

That is one scarey kid!! Coupled with adults too stupid to lock up their guns. Why in the hell did a four year old know where it was and how to shoot it? That's just too young to start teaching them. My prayers go out to the baby sitter's family.

The 4yr old was not charged. What a statement. The 4yr old is also the victim. And I agree with the earlier statement from someone. What the he** is a loaded gun doing in a place where a 4yr old can have access. Shame on the parents

Yeah im gonna do it, OK to start very sad situation. This kid sounds like he has some real anger management issues! Personally, odds are that this kid is just acting out on something he may have seen on a video game or tv. Someone stepped on his foot good grief, what the heck would he do if someone stole his twinky. This child needs some serious counseling.
