Police are investigating after a pipe bomb was found behind a dumpster at an apartment complex in Mt. Washington Tuesday night.
Just before 7 p.m. police say a maintenance man for the Mantara Apartments was getting ready to cut the grass when he spotted the pipe bomb.
After he called 911 police and fire crews responded to the scene in the 2300 block of Beechmont Avenue.
Traffic was detoured in the surrounding area until crews diffused the pipe bomb.
No one was injured.
