Halloween has gone to the dogs. Literally!

The Dog Costume Pawrade huffs its way through Goebel Park this afternoon in Covington.

The parade route will kick-off at 1:15 p.m. and wind its way along 6th Street Promenade and back to the park.

Organizers are encouraging participants to dress their dog as a Superhero for the costume contest.

Registration is $5.

In Milford, dogs can howl for the Howloween Parade For Dogs.

It's from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Kennel Resorts at 5825 Meadowview Drive.

The costume parade will wind along the trails starting at 2 p.m.

There will also be doggie games for the best digger, best hot dog bobber, and the best trick at 1 p.m.

Alex, the KennelResorts mascot, will pass out Howloween treats to the children.
