There was a foot-in-the-mouth moment during a rally for Democratic vice presidential nominee Joe Biden in Florida today – but the gaff wasn't his.
"Please help me today in welcoming the next vice president of the United States, John McCain," announced Jim Pacillo, who made the introduction at the rally.
The crowd cheered anyway, the music started on cue – and Biden showed no reaction.
There's one possible reason for the blunder.
Pacillo earlier had said he was a Republican who now supports Obama.
