An investigation is underway after a deadly accident in Butler County Wednesday afternoon.
Police say two cars collided head-on in the
4300 block of Reily Millville Road just after 2 p.m.
The Butler County Sheriff's Office says Mary Jo Fritzsche, 46, was driving westbound when she lost lost control and crossed the center line going sideways. The car was struck on the passenger side by a pickup truck traveling south.
Officials say Fritzsche, an Oxford resident, was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's name has not been released.
The Butler County Sheriff's Office Traffic Unit is investigating the accident.
