Thanksgiving eve is traditionally one of the biggest bar nights of the year, and authorities in Hamilton County are counting on it.
The Hamilton County OVI Task Force will be conducting a drunk driving checkpoint Wednesday night in Blue Ash.
The checkpoint, which police are required to make public, will run from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. at 4320 Glendale Milford Road.
Officers from Blue Ash, Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Cincinnati, Golf Manor and Wyoming will be conducting the checkpoint.
Delhi Citizens on Patrol will assist police with vehicle counting.
Authorities will also be patrolling the entire county until early Thursday morning.
People are encouraged not to drive impaired and call a cab if they need a ride home.
