A young girl from the Tri-State who passed away from brain cancer had left notes and letters for her family members around her house. Now, those notes and letters have been made into a book that comes out Tuesday.

Elena Desserich passed away in 2007. Her parents, Keith and Brooke, made a book from the letters their daughter had written. The book is called, "Notes Left Behind".

The Desserichs will celebrate the release of the book at Joseph Beth Booksellers in Rookwood Tuesday evening.

Harper Collins sold over 150,000 pre-sale copies of the book and have printed it in 13 different languages.

All proceeds of the book go to The Cure Starts Now organization.
