New Richmond's police chief has resigned.
City council accepted David Willoughby's resignation at its meeting last night.
The chief was suspended earlier this year.
In March, he pleaded not guilty to charges of menacing by stalking, unauthorized use of a computer, dereliction of duty and theft in office.
Since then, he's been free on bond.
