The new
Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, Indiana is now open for business.
The casino, formerly known as Argosy, closed Sunday night so crews could finish the multi-million dollar expansion.
The boat opened Thursday at 2 p.m. -- one day early. It was scheduled to open at 10 a.m. Friday.
Officials say the new casino, which is 53,000 square feet, will hold 8,000 people and contains 1,200 slot machines.
Hollywood Casino will hold its grand opening on June 29.
