National Baptist Convention Hosts Opening Ceremonies

While the delegates for the National Baptist Convention have been in town for days – the official kick-off for this event is Tuesday morning.

Governor Ted Strickland and Mayor Mark Mallory will speak at the opening ceremonies at U.S. Bank Arena.

The ceremonies begin at 9 in the morning.

There will also be a banquet Tuesday evening to honor the national president.
