Nearly two years after the Comair crash in Lexington, two government agencies are at odds over what's being called a lack of progress toward making Blue Grass Airport (LEX) more safe.

Forty-nine people died when Flight 5191 crashed. It had taken off from a runway that was too short.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) recommended better checks between the control tower and the cockpit.

And so far it says, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has failed to make those changes.
