Thieves should be executed by firing range.

Have a relative that lives in an upscale community. Houses range 300k-600k. Fools broke into the car, stole change, ipod and other things - even put the garage door up and helped themselves to things in the garage. They left the car door unlocked. Scared the kids to death! My point is crime is prevelant in EVERY neighbrohood. Be smart. Lock up.

Locking car doors with visible 'valuables' inside results only in broken glass or cut convertible tops. Just take your goodies out when you leave your car.

I can't believe people think there neighborhood is safe from crime.

Lock it or lose it eh? I would much rather leave my car unlocked than lock it and have someone breaking the lock or windows and leaving me with the bill to repair it. I think it is horrible advice to give people to lock their cars. Instead, just take your valuables out. It is a crime to enter someone's property that is not yours without permission; whether it is locked or unlocked.

Take everything out of your car and leave it unlocked. If you take everything out and leave it locked they will just break your window. Unless you want to buy a new window, I would rather leave it unlocked and let them look in my car and have them realize nothing is in it to take rather than break my window and find out there is nothing to take.

Although those are very nice neighborhoods, there are crooks everywhere you go! It's probably a sure bet that it is people that live around there doing the crimes! Take your stuff inside, that way they don't break your windows trying to get it!! Guess they were never taught as children, that you don't touch things that don't belong to you!

Plain stupidity for leaving purses and wallets in a unlocked car let alone a locked one.

its called common sense. times are hard people are looking for easy things to make money. i agree with jts123 100% how can they call it a break in if everything is unlocked. its like people are just saying "take it, its yours" might as well sit it out on the street with a free sign on it!!!

If the doors aren't locked, how can you call it a "break-in"? Some people never learn. Lock it or lose it, folks.
