CAMPBELLSBURG, Ky. (AP) -- Kentucky State Police say there have been no confirmed sightings of the three inmates who escaped from an Indiana state prison and assaulted three Kentucky men, stealing guns, cash and clothing.
Bobby Cockerell, Christopher Marshall and Jerry Sargent broke out of the Branchville Correctional Facility in Indiana Fridayafter attacking a guard, cutting through a fence and stealing a truck.
Lt. Chad White of the Campbellsburg post said Tuesday afternoon there had also been no sightings of the truck the inmates took Monday from the northern Kentucky home of three brothers in Sanders.
That truck was described as a dull-green 1998 Ford Ranger 4X4 super cab with Kentucky license plate 7824Bz.
On Monday, troopers put out word to agencies in neighboring Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia and Missouri to watch for the three inmates.
Authorities stress for anyone who may see the men to avoid them and call 9-1-1 immediately. The men are considered armed and very dangerous.
