A 60-year-old woman and her son were part of a trio of people arrested by Elmwood Place police after they were allegedly caught on tape helping traffic a prescription drug.

The arrests happened just before midnight Monday during a bust at a home on Highland Avenue.

Thirty-eight-year-old Jackie Thompson and 33-year-old Angela Wardrep are facing several trafficking charges.

Police say they were under audio surveillance at their home and were caught on tape selling drugs on two occasions.

Police say Thompson's mother, Rebecca Monday, also lived at the home, and allowed the drug deals to happen.  She is facing two counts of permitting drug abuse, both felonies.

9News has learned the drug allegedly in question was Klonipin, a prescription anxiety reliever.
