The Warren County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to keep a man convicted of killing a Morrow police officer behind bars.
A jury convicted Anthony McIntosh of murder in 1987, and he is serving a sentence of 18 years to life in prison.
McIntosh killed Patrolman Jeffrey Phegley during a routine traffic stop in January of 1987.
In 2000, McIntosh was denied parole. He has another parole hearing in January.
The sheriff's office is urging anyone who thinks McIntosh shouldn't be released to write the parole board.
There will also be a petition for people to sign at the front desk of the sheriff's office.
