This is very sad. This young cop was spending his time productively and was obviously very dedicated, not only as a cop, but with the fire department as well. There needs to be alternatives to stop sticks because they are too dangerous for the user with vehicles traveling at high speeds in close proximity to the deployer, and this was definitely an unfortunate accident, undoubtedly with the blame going to the perp for ultimately causing this to happen.

This young man is my son's friend, he is a good kid with a bright future ahead of him. He wasn't they type of cop that would just pull you over and give you crap he would simply do his job...working in Lockland can be troublesome in itself on a daily basis...let's pray that Branden makes a full recovery, the officer that hit him heals from this and that the person who started all this nonesense goes directly to jail for a very long time, no free passes here please, make him do his time even if it has to be served in a cardboard box outside the sheriffs office due to overcrowding.

I hope and pray the Lockland officer recover`s 100% and the West Chester Officer can heal after this tragic incident.And to the loser they were chasing should do life with out parole.

It said he was involved in a robbery in Clermont County. Was that the one in Batavia? If so thats crazy! I agree why was he out of jail? I believe I read somewhere that he is already out on bond? He apparently has a Big problem if he has done this twice before.I know jail space is limited,but why give him a bond.Bet he does this again while he's out.. I hope this officer pulls through and recovers quickly...
