A man is jail after allegedly stealing from his 80-year-old grandmother.

The Georgetown woman told Sheriff deputies that whenever she left her home, some of her medication would be missing when she got back. She said she locked her home every time which made deputies think a relative was stealing from her.

Sheriff's deputies staked out the grandmother's home on April 9 as she left her home.

Deputies say after one hour Robert Hitt, 34, pulled into the driveway, and was caught stealing prescription medication from the home.

Hitt, a Bethel, Ohio resident, has been identified as the grandson of the victim.

He is charged with burglary. Hitt is in the Brown County Adult Detention Center of a $25,000 bond.
