I heard about this with disbelief. I have known, and been friends with this man for about 4 years. We both are motorcycle safety instructors. Even though he looks very rough, I have never known him to do anything dishonest, drink or use drugs. When I was told about this I wasn't ready to believe it. I have not seen him for about 8 months now and have been wondering about his health. He just late last year had a colonoscopy reversal and had almost died from a perforated colon. He has been totally disabled for several years now. Several years ago he had actually been pronounced dead 3 different times because of a severe motorcycle accident. Because of his colon problems he had lost what income he received for the motorcycle safety instruction. I suspect this left him with dire financial circumstances. When someone finds themselves in a desperate situation they do some strange things. This in no way excuses what he has done. I won't pick on him for his haircut, he has always been a friend to me and I liked him. It breaks my heart that this has happened. What little life he has is gone now for all practical purposes and he has lost everything. He could not have been doing this long, he was actually living with another friend that had been trying to help him out and now she will probably loose her good job and home. What a waste for him and anyone that he sold the garbage to. How disappointing!
