An Avondale man is behind bars after allegedly going on a rampage while on board a Metro bus in Lincoln Heights overnight.
Police arrested 28-year-old Leon Edwards late Monday night at the intersection of
Leggett Court and Medosch Street, after he reportedly threatened to stab the bus driver with a knife in front of two passengers.
In addition, officials say Edwards shattered the glass in the bus door, forcing it to be placed out of service.
Edwards is charged with vandalism, menacing and disrupting a public service.
He is scheduled to return to court later this month.
