The House vote on the health care bill was close and went late Saturday night.
In Ohio, both Democrats and Republicans made their opinions and votes clear.
"The bill passed. I think the vote was 220 to 215. I voted in favor of the health care bill. I think it's a big step in the right direction in terms of allowing all American's to access to quality, affordable health care," said Rep. Steve Driehaus.
Congresswoman Jean Schmidt voted against the bill.
"The American public wants their own health care that they have now. They don't want to be forced into a program that they don't want. They don't want a government run health care system. They don't want to spend a trillion dollars. They don't want our seniors to have to pay for it," Schmidt said.
Now that the bill has passed the house, it's up to the Senate to say yes or no.
Either way you can bet the opinions from those who serve Ohio will keep coming.
"This is going to help small businesses, I believe this is going to help our economy. It's going to provide some assurance to families," Driehaus said.
"What this bill is designed to do is to push people into the exchange. And then push people into the government run program," Schmidt said.
