Let's see: Natural Gas prices go up, prices go up. Natural Gas prices go down, prices go up. Some bull about replacing old pipes. Let's face it, they are doing this to make more MONEY and they are thinking (and likely right) that there isn't a darn thing we can do about it, since they are a monopoly and we are not greasing the politician's palms.

CG&E forever, Cinergy/Duke never.

18%!! What? This is a massive increase. I live in a decent size house and my gas bill is over $200 in the winter months. My bill will go up $36 with this. Wow, that's too much to take for our family budget right now. WE HAVE TO FIGHT THIS. Write your state reps and possibly your house rep...I am.

I would like to know who's bill is an average of $75 or even $90. Maybe if you live in an apartment. Duke Energy are the biggest crooks.
